Certifications: BLS and ACLS required

Must-Have: EPIC experience required

Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations

Charge experience preferred

Ability to float as needed

Description: Every other weekend floating is required. Common cases include burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries. Special procedures include burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy. Skills required include management of BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tube care, and CVA management. Experience with telemetry monitoring, surgical drains, total joint replacement care, and wound care is necessary. Candidates must have experience with rapid response/code teams and isolation precautions. Preferred experience includes trauma care and community hospital settings. Successful candidates will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-acuity environment. Two professional references are required. One reference should be from a managerial or formal leadership position. This position involves compliance with credentialing and fingerprinting processes. All candidates must be prepared to complete these requirements promptly upon contract signing. Travel candidates must be aware of the urgency of completing the fingerprinting process.
