Translate enterprise and regional direction into district strategy with clear priorities, measurable outcomes, and disciplined execution rhythms Lead and develop a high-performing team through hiring, performance management, and development planning Coach and mentor the team to strengthen selling effectiveness, clinical execution, and business acumen Drive demand generation and care transitions execution across outpatient and inpatient settings Build relationships with key customers and stakeholders and strengthen cross-functional partnerships Anticipate market dynamics using internal and external data to adjust strategy, remove barriers, and protect or grow performance Influence Sales leadership, Institutional Business Group, Medical Affairs, and Marketing through field insights Reinforce accountability, inclusion, and team health while supporting the team through change Adhere to Healthcare Compliance policies and guidelines Use approved AI-enabled tools to scale best practices, strengthen strategic planning, and elevate team execution while maintaining privacy and data integrity Requirements A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree required; MS/MBA/PhD preferred Valid driver’s license issued in one of the fifty United States Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in sales and/or cross-functional commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or healthcare industry Minimum of two (2) years of direct sales management experience Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight and weekend travel Must live in the geography and/or be willing to relocate to the geography Experience defining collaboration approaches, aligning cross-functional partners, removing barriers, and influencing outcomes beyond the district Experience coaching others, leading change, building followership, and driving clarity and prioritization Experience designing coaching approaches and adapting coaching strategies to individual needs Experience creating development pathways, building bench strength, and supporting succession readiness Experience using internal and external data to build compliant integrated district plans and translate strategy into execution expectations Experience with data-driven decision making, performance insights, trend identification, and approved AI-enabled tools Preferred: enterprise influence, gastroenterology therapeutic area experience, large account management, access and reimbursement dynamics, capability-building, change management, strategic execution initiatives, and emerging technology/AI experience Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading high-performing teams, driving demand generation, and executing strategic initiatives within the healthcare industry.
