Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Care for neurological ICU patients, including post-craniotomy, stroke, and EVD (external ventricular drain) patients
• Float between units as needed based on staffing and census requirements
• Participate in weekend shifts, with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Complete required orientation modules prior to and during the start of assignment

• Active RN license required; Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of ICU experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a travel candidate (locals may be considered under separate terms)
• Must submit all RTO and scheduling requests upfront at time of submittal - post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
• Background must be clear; facility does not accept Nursys or background hits

• Experience with Neuro ICU patient populations, including post-craniotomy and stroke care
• Familiarity with EVD (external ventricular drain) management
• Experience in a Level II Trauma Center or similarly complex acute care environment

• Opportunity to work in a 379-bed Level II Trauma Center offering a dynamic and high-acuity clinical environment
• Block scheduling may be available based on unit and staffing needs, offering potential flexibility in shift planning
