Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist III provides advanced respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessment, primarily in critical care settings. They perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and invasive/non-invasive procedures, ensuring safe and quality patient care. Core Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care through assessment, therapy planning, and execution. Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans. Educate patients, families, and support systems, addressing biological, emotional, and developmental needs. Mentor and precept new staff, students, and peers; participate in quality improvement projects. Promote safety, accurate documentation, and evidence-based practices. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred). Licenses and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT required upon hire. Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care areas. Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with computer systems and databases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
