2nd Shift CNC Operator

Job TitleESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:Must be proficient in diagnosing, troubleshooting and making corrections and adjustments to CNC lathe equipment, including life tooling.Ability to make insert changes and adjust properly to bring part to size.Must also be familiar with various types of gauging and measuring devices including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, plug gauges, bore gauges etc. and able to perform quality inspections that will produce parts that conform to required specifications of the blue print.Willingness to learn and use our Data Log system at the machines.Keep up with our Preventative Maintenance at the machines by following our PM sheets and filling them out when completed (adding coolant and checking concentration, removing chip build up, grease up chuck, checking oil and adding if need, changing out scrap barrel for empty one when needed).Must be able to read a blue print.Willingness to adapt and grow by learning new equipment or changes that might occur with the one we have now.Applicants should also possess good math skills.Participate in continuous improvement activities to eliminate waste and streamline processes to increase productivity and quality.Must maintain work area in a clean, orderly fashion and perform other job duties as required by the Supervisor.Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.REQUIREMENT:High School Degree or equivalent to the satisfactory of management.Familiarity with multiple types of presses and assembly sequences as well as the ability to use various gauging/measuring devices, ovens, sandblaster, die cutter and label maker.Mechanical Aptitude.QualificationsBehaviors:Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interestTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellDedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityMotivations:Self-Starter: Inspired to perform without outside helpWork-Life Balance: Inspired to perform well by having ample time to pursue work and interests outside of workJob Security: Inspired to perform well by the knowledge that your job is safeGrowth Opportunities: Inspired to perform well by the chance to take on more responsibilityGoal Completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasksEducation:High School or better.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
