Pain Management Physician Assistant Location: Bronx, New York Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Direct Hire) About the Opportunity A leading outpatient pain management center in the Bronx, NY, is seeking a qualified Pain Management Physician Assistant to join their multidisciplinary clinical team. This full-time, direct-hire role focuses on interventional spine and pain care, comprehensive patient evaluations, joint/soft tissue injections, and restorative therapy plans alongside experienced Pain Management Physicians and Physiatrists. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, diagnostic workups, and routine follow-up visits for adult patients with acute, chronic, and spinal pain conditions. Perform in-office procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and tendon sheath injections under clinical or ultrasound guidance. Assist attending physicians with fluoroscopically guided interventional procedures (e.g., epidurals, facet blocks, radiofrequency ablations) as needed. Manage multi-modal pain treatment plans, including responsible pharmacotherapy, physical therapy referrals, and non-pharmacologic modalities. Oversee controlled substance compliance protocols, including routine urine drug testing and New York Prescription Monitoring Program (I-STOP/PDMP) reviews. Complete detailed and timely documentation in the practice s electronic health record (EHR) system. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant (PA) Program. Active, unencumbered New York State Physician Assistant License. NCCPA Certification (PA-C). Active New York DEA registration and Prescriptive Authority. Prior clinical experience or rotation exposure in Pain Management, PM&R, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, or Urgent Care is highly preferred.
