Data Analyst Intern – Estimating & Pricing (Tactical Solutions), Summer 2027

The LEAP Program will provide you with the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on impactful projects, engage in career development opportunities, and network with our business leaders and the other students in the program.

What its like to work here...
You wont be spending your summer in a vacuum running theoretical models or solving textbook equations. Instead, you will be the "detective" for our historical data. Youll dive into the archives of how weve priced and estimated complex tactical systems in the past to help us build a smarter, more organized future.

The Finance Strategic Capabilities Unit delivers the expertise and business acumen to increase value across the enterprise by providing actionable information with recommendations and opportunities to drive sustainable business growth.

What Youll Do:

• Take messy, fragmented informationspreadsheets, old reports, and legacy foldersand transforms them into a structured, categorized library that our senior estimators can actually use.
• Bridge the gap between "raw data" and "business intelligence." If you enjoy the satisfaction of taking a chaotic pile of information and creating a clean, logical system where everything has its place, you will thrive in this role.
• Work closely with leadership in the Tactical Solutions business area, seeing firsthand how data directly influences the competitive bids and strategic decisions of a global defense leader.
• Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
• Perform other duties as necessary.

• Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

• Previous experience (even in a non-technical role) where you had to categorize large amounts of information or improve a manual process.
