Make a difference in the lives of students by providing expert support and care as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist near Palm Desert, CA. Utilize your knowledge and compassion in a dynamic educational setting where your skills and insights will impact children’s communication abilities and help unlock their fullest potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students dealing with speech and language disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's strengths and needs
- Provide targeted therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals
- Maintain detailed documentation and track progress to ensure measurable improvement
- Collaborate closely with a diverse, multidisciplinary team for holistic, coordinated student care
- Engage and educate families, empowering them to support progress beyond therapy sessions
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current or eligible state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Background working with pediatric or school-aged populations is a plus
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work both independently as well as collaboratively within a team
Additional qualifications:
- Active license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology
- Minimum Master’s degree in the field
