Description: SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday with 1 weekend per month. WEEKEND: 1 weekend a month. CALL: None. FLOATING: Within facility/scope of practice (acute care). MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year. HOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. COMPLIANCE: Full compliance required to start on time. Locals accepted at the same rate. Number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length. Previous charge experience preferred. Charting system experience required (Epic). Interdisciplinary support provided. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Patient diagnoses and special procedures or unit details not specified. All compliance documents due before the start date. Holidays: If 1-2 holidays fall during the assignment, no holiday requests can be made. If 3 holidays fall during the assignment, 1 holiday request may be considered.
