Essential Job Functions: Draft, review, and negotiate real estate transactions (leases, acquisitions, dispositions) and commercial contracts (vendor, customer, and partnership agreements), ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with legal standards. Assess and mitigate legal risks in transactions, providing practical solutions and strategic guidance to internal teams to support business decisions. Work closely with cross-functional teams (real estate, finance, operations) to ensure legal compliance and support business growth initiatives. Manage and track commercial and real estate agreements, ensuring timely execution and compliance with contractual obligations. Stay informed on industry trends and legal developments, advising the company on compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Education/Experience: Licensed attorney with a J.D. or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school (U.S. license required). 3–6 years of experience in a law firm or in-house setting. Background in commercial contracts. Commercial real estate experience a plus. Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software like Ironclad is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strategic thinker with a detail-oriented approach to drafting and problem-solving. Strong ownership mindset—you follow projects through to completion and drive results. Ability to balance risk with business goals, offering practical, solutions-oriented guidance. A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and collaborates effectively with diverse teams. Willingness to work primarily in-office (one remote day per week). Strong time management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
