Tech - IR/Special Procedures

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized radiology support in interventional procedures within a fast-paced hospital setting. Ensure the safe and efficient operation of imaging equipment during vascular and neurointerventional procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Siemens Bi-plane and single-plane imaging equipment to assist during interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient safety.
• Prepare procedural areas and equipment, ensuring readiness for neuro and vascular interventions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and on-call requirements, including night and weekend shifts.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EMR systems such as Meditech and GE Centricity PACS.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT RT (R) certification and valid BLS certification.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 6 months recent acute care hospital IR Tech experience.
• Possess expertise in neuro interventional procedures, including strokes, aneurysms, and SAH.
• Exhibit strong knowledge of vascular interventional radiology protocols and minimal guidance procedures.
• Show excellent teamwork and self-motivation in a high-pressure environment.
