We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / Auditor to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting products, auditing production processes, and ensuring compliance with quality standards, customer specifications, and company procedures.
This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys working closely with production teams to maintain the highest levels of quality and efficiency.
What You'll Do
Quality Inspections
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of materials and finished products.
- Verify products meet customer requirements, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and quality concerns before shipment.
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections.
Quality Audits
- Perform routine audits of manufacturing processes and work areas.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Monitor production activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support internal and external quality audits.
Documentation & Reporting
- Complete inspection reports and quality records accurately.
- Document non-conforming materials and products.
- Assist with corrective and preventive action initiatives (CAPA).
- Communicate quality findings to supervisors and production teams.
Measurement & Testing
- Use inspection tools including:
- Calipers
- Micrometers
- Tape Measures
- Height Gauges
- Go/No-Go Gauges
- Other precision measuring equipment
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and product specifications.
Continuous Improvement
- Assist with root cause investigations and problem-solving activities.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Help maintain compliance with quality management systems and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
- Experience using measuring and inspection equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and data entry).
Preferred
- Manufacturing or production environment experience.
- Quality auditing experience.
- ISO 9001 knowledge or experience.
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.
- Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and visual inspections.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
