Shipping ManagerAs a Shipping Manager, you are responsible for leading and scaling all outbound shipping operations within the facility. You oversee team performance, freight strategy, cost control, quality standards, and on-time delivery metrics. You own the final stage of the customer experience, ensuring every order leaves accurately packaged, properly documented, and on schedule. You drive accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence while building a high-performing team. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you're excited to join the team and grow with us, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoOwn daily outbound shipping operations, ensuring on-time and accurate order fulfillmentPartner with Production, Quality, and Operations leadership to align shipping output with facility throughput goalsResolve escalated shipping, freight, or carrier issuesDrive LEAN and 5S implementation within the shipping departmentIdentify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase throughput and reduce errorsImprove packaging standards to balance cost efficiency and damage preventionOversee inventory management of shipping supplies and materialsEnsure accurate data entry and utilization of shipping and ERP systemsPerform other related duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent3+ years of shipping, warehouse, or fulfillment experience2+ years of management experience in a manufacturing or fulfillment operationsStrong understanding of shipping systems and documentation processesStrong attention to detail and qualityStrong computer skills and ability to use shipping or inventory systemsDemonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentCommitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environmentPreferred QualificationFamiliarity with freight logistics and carrier coordinationForklift experienceExperience in a manufacturing environment handling metal or industrial productsExperience managing multi-shift operationsFamiliarity with freight rate analysis and carrier negotiationsLEAN or continuous improvement trainingExperience driving continuous improvement initiativesPhysical RequirementsAbility to repeatedly lift 25 lbs and lift up to 50 lbsAbility to stand and walk for 10 to 12 hour shiftsAbility to bend, reach, and work around large industrial equipmentWork EnvironmentManufacturing and production floor environmentWork performed around CNC lasers, press brakes, and material handling equipmentExposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal materialsUse of required protective equipment at all timesUse of skin packing machineUse of custom box making machineThis position requires working in close proximity to equipment that generates strong electromagnetic fields (EMF).
