Medical Laboratory Scientist

Labcorp seeks a Clinical Lab Professional for overnight shift work at a hospital laboratory in Nowata, Oklahoma. The role involves performing routine and complex laboratory testing, operating instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality and accurate results in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate specimen acceptability according to established criteria
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental protocols
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
• Conduct quality control and preventive maintenance procedures
• Report accurate test results and maintain specimen processing workflow

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science
• One year or more clinical laboratory testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification (preferred)
• Ability to pass color blindness test and work independently
• Proficiency with computers and laboratory information systems
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills
