Care Partner (CNA) - Emergency Room

Care Partner (CNA) – Emergency Room – Full Time 12‑Hour Night Shift (Union) The Care Partner provides nursing staff support in patient care delivery, clerical functions, organization of the unit environment, set‑up and maintenance of equipment. The emphasis on each of these areas will vary by unit. Education Minimum: Current California Certified Nurse Assistant Certification or active enrollment in an accredited nursing program with completion of the "Fundamentals of Nursing" course (B or better). Experience and Knowledge Six months to one year experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant, preferably in an acute care setting. Ability to pass a 4‑hour USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Electronic Health Record data entry training course. Understanding of basic medical terminology and abbreviations. Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner under competing requirements and heavy workload. Required Licenses and Certifications California Certified Nurse Assistant certification (active). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) card. AB 508 Certification.
