Event Security Guard – Non D-LicensedFlorida Panthers Hockey Club is hiring for a part-time, event-based role at FTL War Memorial in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position reports to the Security Supervisor and involves approximately 15–25 hours per week, primarily during evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.The Event Security team members play a pivotal role in creating a safe environment for guests from the moment they enter the venue until they depart. This role does not require a Florida D Security License, although D-Licensed positions are preferred and non D-Licensed positions are limited based on events.Essential functions include monitoring access to restricted areas and exterior doors, controlling guest and vendor access to FTL War Memorial, checking credentials to manage employee and visitor access during events, monitoring and responding to security issues or potential risks, providing excellent customer service, escorting guests as needed, following all safety and security policies, managing crisis situations effectively, handling radios professionally, and reporting all incidents to the Supervisor or Management.
