Patient Access Rep
Ascension
- Location: Saint Johns, FL
- Facility: Optimal Imaging Ascension St. Vincent's
- Department: Outpatient Imaging
- Schedule: Day shift | PRN
- Coordinate and communicate precise patient schedules for prescribed procedures to maximize clinical resource utilization and respect patient time.
- Efficiently manage patient registration by gathering and entering accurate demographic, insurance, and clinical data into database systems.
- Navigate and resolve scheduling conflicts and inquiries regarding procedure types, dates, and locations by leveraging appropriate resources.
- Facilitate insurance pre-certification and authorization work-flows to ensure seamless administrative approvals prior to care.
- Counsel patients and representatives on pre-service requirements and instructions to prepare them effectively for upcoming procedures.
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
