Medical Assistant/Licensed Practical Nurse/Casual Call - Sister Bay Clinic/Family Medicine Job Category: Nursing/Clinical Requisition Number: MEDIC001563 Locations Sister Bay, WI 54234, USA Pay or shift range: $18.21 USD to $35.32 USD The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job‑related reasons. Description The Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide professional nursing or medical assistant care under supervision or scope of licensure for clinic patients. Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds. Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts. Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification. Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in‑office procedures and prepare and administer medications/immunizations. Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room. Qualifications: BLS Certification Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from approved program. (Can be obtained on the job). Medical Assistant: Certified as a Medical Assistant, or Registered Medical Assistant through an approved accreditor preferred, however can train on the job. Licensed Practical Nurse: Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing. Valid Practical Nursing license in the state of WI through an approved accreditor. Shift: Working Casual Call (meaning you work as needed) at the Sister Bay Clinic and may float to an Industrial Clinic in Sturgeon Bay if needed. Education Required High School or better. Preferred Associates or better in Nursing or related field. General Education Diploma or better. Licenses & Certifications Preferred
