Design Responsibilities
- Review client files to ensure production quality and accuracy.
- Prepare existing artwork for production. E.g., typesetting, adding bleeds, pagination, etc.
- Utilize provided tools such as Pitstop, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other software applications.
- Interpret customer request and turn ideas into tangible products.
- Create print media using color, type, illustration, photography and other various techniques.
- Actively communicate with clients to understand and deliver design material to their satisfaction.
- Perform production & bindery tasks as required with accuracy and efficiency.
- Be knowledgeable of all products and services offered.
- Communicate and work effectively with team.
- Computer/technical proficiency is required.
- Basic coding/HTML/CSS background a plus.
- Adobe Creative Cloud/design background is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good eye for detail and ability to distinguish color.
- Ability to problem solve and be solutions oriented.
- Interest in the quick-printing industry and working at a small business (10 employees).
- Live in/near Mason, Ohio.
