Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years Med Surg and Telemetry experience required License: Michigan RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Required to float units Description: Perform comprehensive assessments upon admission and monitor condition trends throughout the patient's hospital stay. Prepare, administer, and chart prescribed medications (including IVs) and manage wound care or specialized equipment. Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans. Instruct patients and families on post-surgery care, medication schedules, and post-discharge instructions. Recognize early signs of medical deterioration and take swift action to stabilize patients before emergencies occur.
