This healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in home health to support patient care in the West Portland region. The role involves provider visits to patients within a designated radius, ensuring comprehensive and compassionate home-based nursing services. Job Details Certifications: BLS, Oregon State Licensure Education Requirements: Active Oregon State RN license; minimum of 1 year of Skilled Home Health Experience Location Requirements: Local within 50-75 miles of the area, considered local Years of Experience: 1 year required Shift: 8-hour days, minimum of 40 hours per week Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday with guaranteed hours, no on-call required Clinical Responsibilities: Performing admission assessments, wound care, medication management, patient education including colostomy/ileostomy care, and utilizing electronic charting systems (EPIC, Rover, Oasis) Responsibilities include visiting up to six patients per day, adhering to ratios, and ensuring safe, effective patient care with an emphasis on disease management and infection control considerations. Candidate must have their own transportation and be able to work within a maximum radius of roughly 60 miles per day. Open to first-time travelers who meet experience requirements and possess the necessary certifications.
