Responsibilities
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Director, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN performs nursing assessments, identifies patient needs, develops individualized care plans, implements appropriate interventions, and evaluates patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Licensure & Certifications
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIH Stroke Scale
Experience & Skills
- At least 2 years of experience in a PCU or higher-acuity setting strongly preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Must attend applicable hospital training programs, including New Manager/Supervisor Orientation and Leadership Development courses
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
