Nurse Practitioner - Workplace Primary Care (PRN)

Onsite | Clearwater, FL

Overview

NP role providing onsite primary care for City of Clearwater employees. Coverage needed during provider PTO.

Schedule

30 hours per week
Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 6:45 AM-5:15 PM
Must be able to cover full clinic hours when needed

Responsibilities

Provide primary care in an employer-based clinic
Deliver episodic and low-acuity urgent care
Manage short-term acute care follow-ups
Perform CLIA-waived tests and dispense medications
Conduct biometric screenings and wellness education
Provide one-on-one health coaching
Collaborate with HR/Benefits and clinic care team

Qualifications

Active Autonomous NP license in Florida (required)
DEA license and prescriptive authority
2+ years of independent NP experience in internal medicine or family practice
Strong primary care background; women's health experience preferred
Chronic disease management experience preferred
EHR experience; EPIC a plus
Strong interpersonal and customer-focused communication
Reliable attendance and ability to cover clinic hours
