Logistics Specialist

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Logistics Specialist

Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: New Albany, OH

As a Logistics Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shipping routes and delivery with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Be responsible for anticipating and resolving potential issues related to freight, packaging, and delivery.
• Be responsible for coordinating internally and externally regarding transportation requirements.
• Be responsible for handling customer requests for industry compliance, ensuring documentation is complete and timely.
• Be responsible for working with suppliers and product engineering teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Be responsible for performing additional tasks as assigned to support operations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, asset management, and warehouse workflows.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Skilled in Excel, Word, and other Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with expertise in process improvement, organization, reporting, and time management.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Deep experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Background in logistics, supply chain, or related industries.
• Experience mentoring or leading warehouse/operations staff.
• Track record of improving workflows and reducing inefficiencies.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $35 - $40 per hours
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
