Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary

Join the Canarsie Childhood Center in Brooklyn, NY, as a Speech Language Pathologist, providing specialized speech therapy services to children aged 3-5 years old. As part of our state-of-the-art, approved special education preschool program, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality services that support our students in achieving their maximum potential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech services in accordance with the IEP mandate

• Maintain session notes, log notes, attendance cards, time sheets, and records in accordance with local and state requirements

• Collaborate with school personnel, participate in meetings, and complete quarterly and annual reports

• Utilize expertise to develop and implement effective speech therapy programs

Requirements:

• NYS certification as Speech-Language Pathologist, TSSLD, and CCC

• Experience in the preschool special education field

• Clearance by DOE and DOI

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
