Swiss Machinist- Weekends

Position Overview Direct-Hire Swiss Machinist (Weekend day shift) – Work hours: Friday-Sunday, 6 AM to 6 PM. The role supports the manufacturing facility with setup and operation of Swiss machines based on work instructions and setup sheets. Job Details Shift: First. Salary: $75,000-85,000 per year. Education: High school diploma. Responsibilities Set up and operate Swiss machines per work instructions and setup sheets. Monitor and adhere to quality standards per the quality manual. Set up Swiss machines on intermediate-complexity production jobs unaided, as required. Train others on basic and intermediate-complexity production jobs. Communicate effectively with peers in the work cell/line and across the department. Troubleshoot intermediate machining job problems with supervision. Use electronic systems for operations, training, and job clock-in/out. Run and train on other equipment as business needs arise. Maintain a safe, clean, organized work environment and 5S principles. Participate in continuous improvement, 5S, and Lean initiatives, including vision systems, CMMS, and hand tools. Skills Swiss machining Setups Blueprint reading Quality inspection Tooling changes and offsets Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience level: Experienced.
