POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: 1.0FTE- 4 10hour shifts
• Location: Lakeville - MNGI Digestive Health
• Salary Range: Starting range $40.39 - $46.45/hour (Where an applicant may

fall on the salary range will vary based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience & education)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record patients’ medical history and assessment.
• Start IV/saline lock.
• Perform INR and glucose testing.
• Prepare patients for and assist physician in endoscopy procedures.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records in the electronic health

record.

• Recovery of sedated patients and discharge assessments.
• Utilize proper infection control techniques.
• Monitor all aspects of patient care, anticipate patient and physician needs.
• Instruct individuals and families on topics such as health education and

disease prevention. * Additional Responsibilities May Include:

• Infusion and injection administration
• Esophageal Motility/PH testing
• ARM/Biofeedback
• InterSTIM wire placement and removal
• Assist with BRAVO Capsule placement
• Capsule studies
• Maintain supplies by keeping supplies stock for the Endoscopy Center and

order as needed

• On-Call Prep RN (Vadnais Heights Endoscopy Site)
• Responding to patient calls while on call (evening, weekend or holiday)
• At our Vadnais Heights, Lakeville, Northeast Minneapolis and Maple Grove

Endoscopy Sites:

• Admission, recovery, and procedural care of pediatric patients
• All RNs at the Northeast Minneapolis location will be expected to care for

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• One to two years of clinical experience is preferred.
• GI related experience is preferred.
• Experience using an Electronic Health Record is required.
• PACU experience preferred

Certifications/Licenses:

• * Current Minnesota Nursing License is required.
• Must be BLS certified.
• Pediatric sites require PALS certification for Charge Nurses.
