Production Control Clerk

Job Details: Job Location: TX-CLEBMFG - Ft Worth, TX, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Responsibility summary: Perform various data entry tasks, scans documents into system, quality control checks of shop routings and dispatching items between departments. Acts as gatekeeper to shop routings, ensuring accuracy of quantities, part numbers match routings, and that routings have been properly filled out and receive shop routing into the ERP system. Principal Responsibilities (but not limited too): Performs tasks associated with the production clerk activities while meeting productivity, quality, safety, behavioral and attendance expectations Functions include, but not limited to: Date entry, transferring various data from written forms to spreadsheets and/or ERP system and ensuring the written forms are accurately filled out and legible. Inspect shop routings to ensure they are properly filled out. Validate that shop routings align with items in the associated carts or containers; I.E, correct quantities, scrap is tagged and accounted for on shop routing, any NCR copies are with the routing packet and properly completed, and that the part numbers on routing are the correct parts in cart/container. Confirm that parts have proper identification on them. Enter shop routing completion data into ERP system and complete routing in system. Collaborate with quality, shop leaders, other management, and production scheduling. Dispatch products to departments. Advise shop supervisors/leaders and production scheduling of any paperwork or data conflicts. Audit shop routings for accuracy. At final stage and throughout work in progress (WIP). Required Skills & Experience: Experience in data entry and scanning: 3 years preferred, 1 year a must. MRP/ERP experience preferred. Experience working in manufacturing environment: 3 years preferred, 1 years a must. Must have excellent communication skills. Must be able to read, give and take direction in English. Must be detailed oriented, have basic math skills and Strong computer and M.S. Office skills, especially Excel. Knowledge of shop routings. Well versed at analyzing information, reporting investigation results, and have solid documentation skills. Other Requirements: Will be working in a shop environment. Ability to lift 50lbs and move heavy carts Able to work full time and have great attendance. High school diploma/GED required.
