Collections Specialist

Job Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the hi-tech engineering sector, based in Ventura, California. As a Collections Specialist, your role will involve handling customer accounts, processing credit applications, and maintaining customer records. You will also be responsible for managing collections, resolving inquiries, and liaising with various stakeholders. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. Responsibilities Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintenance of precise customer credit records Management of collections on assigned accounts and proactive client contact to meet collection targets Issuance of statements and invoices as requested Identification of potential issues that could delay payments through a thorough understanding of all accounts receivable ledgers for each customer Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external clients Collaboration with various departments including billing, revenue, business development, and account management to resolve issues on assigned accounts Preparation and processing of payment proposals, manual payments, and customer refunds, ensuring timely approvals Responding promptly to audit queries Support of cash allocation by obtaining remittance advice for payment allocations Qualifications Must possess proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Familiarity with Accurint is required Experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential Must have a working knowledge of CRM Experience with Epic Software is a plus Should be proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) Must have experience in Answering Inbound Calls Experience with Billing Functions is important Knowledge of Claim Administration is required Must understand Collection Processes Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
