Frederick, MD | Full-Time | $288,750 $383,250 Physician Sponsorship Opportunities Available

The Opportunity

Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht one of the most established and respected OBGYN practices in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN to join their collegial team across four Maryland locations: Frederick, Gaithersburg, Rockville, and Damascus . This is a full-spectrum OBGYN practice with a decades-long foundation of physician-patient relationships that candidates from large health systems rarely get the chance to experience.

The Frederick office is conveniently located at 77 Thomas Johnson Drive, Suite H, Frederick, MD 21702 , with complimentary parking and on-site LabCorp laboratory services. The Frederick location also now offers 3D screening mammograms and diagnostic mammography/breast ultrasound all in the same setting as your OB/GYN care team.

Practice Highlights

• Full-spectrum OBGYN including obstetrics, gynecology, minimally invasive surgery, contraception, menopause management, and high-risk pregnancy co-management
• Integrated MFM support : SMH recently expanded access to the MFM & Genetics of Advantia team including a fellowship-trained MFM specialist (Dr. Laura Parikh, MD, FACOG) and a licensed certified genetic counselor now seeing patients directly at the Frederick and Rockville locations
• Collaborative care model with certified nurse-midwives, women's health NPs, and MAs at each site
• State-of-the-art imaging including 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasound; on-site lab services; and outpatient surgical capabilities
• Physician sponsorship available for qualified international medical graduates
• All Advantia partner hospitals have achieved CMS "Birthing-Friendly" hospital designation

• Base salary: $288,750 $383,250 (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Maryland medical license preferred (or eligibility to obtain)
