Unit General Manager Reports To Area Supervisor Purpose To lead an Arby's restaurant in achieving sales and profit goals while upholding the company's values and policies. Responsibilities Boost sales by delivering exceptional products and services, aiming for a 5% increase. Create and post a weekly work schedule by Wednesday at 3 PM with a target of 0-hour variance. Assist in the Quarterback position during lunch, dinner, and weekends, ensuring fast service in the drive‑thru. Maintain full staffing of quality Team Members and managers, building strong teams for all positions. Implement new employee orientation and Team Member Training Program (TMTP) to consistently achieve a 70% Average Item Quality (AIQ). Evaluate the performance of all Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers quarterly. Execute daily operations to ensure a clean, organized restaurant that delivers high-quality food quickly and friendly. Manage purchasing of food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring all products meet our quality standards. Operate in compliance with established performance, profit, and operating standards as detailed in the Operations Standards Manual (OSM). Motivate and supervise Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant Managers to reach their highest potential. Maintain a strong understanding of all equipment and oversee preventive maintenance for the unit. Exemplify high service standards throughout the operational day through management by example. Utilize management tools to maintain accurate records that inform strategies for increased sales and profits. Ensure timely and accurate execution of marketing plans to encourage repeat customer visits. Initiate and implement approved Local Store Marketing strategies. Review financial performance and goal progress with the Area Supervisor regularly, addressing problems as they arise. Maintain open and honest communication with all team members about plans, progress, and challenges. Support the continuous development of Assistant Managers, preparing them for future General Manager roles. Provide dynamic leadership that fosters excitement, a positive mindset, and commitment to organizational goals. Focus on enhancing sales and profitability continually.
