Process Manufacturing Engineer

LHH is partnering with a manufacturing organization seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support Assembly and Machine Shop operations through process improvement, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This hands-on role will focus on improving manufacturing efficiency, optimizing workflows, enhancing process documentation, and driving productivity improvements across the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives

Conduct equipment, tooling, and process qualifications

Perform time studies and develop standard work procedures

Participate in Kaizen and variation reduction activities

Create and update work instructions, routings, and manufacturing documentation

Identify opportunities for tooling and fixturing improvements

Support line balancing and workflow optimization efforts

Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Tool & Die teams

Assist with equipment and tooling specification and procurement

Qualifications:

• Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related manufacturing experience

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and process control

• Experience with process documentation and standard work development

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment

• Familiarity with inspection and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) preferred

• SolidWorks experience for tooling and fixture design is a plus

Pay Details: $55.00 to $75.00 per hour
