About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Administer medication and monitor health conditions as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients in their homes.
• Document daily activities and report any changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
• Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance caregiving skills.
• Adhere to all safety and health regulations while providing care.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a PCA or HHA preferred.
• Previous experience in home care or a similar caregiving role is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate, patient, and understanding demeanor towards clients.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
