ManufacturingEngineer Location:Kent,WA JobID:#73176 PayRange:$51-61 upTO6monthcontract PositionSummary: Clientiscurrentlyseekinga ProcessEngineerI forour Kent,WA,USA location.Inthisrole,youwilldevelop,maintain,andsupporteffective,responsiveEngineeringsupportforassignedprojects,customersandprograms.Provideday-to-dayengineeringinputandsupporttopersonnelrequiredforquality,on-timeproductionofcompositestructures,processengineeringofcompositestructuresandmaterials.ProvideanalyticalandorganizationalsupporttoEngineeringGroupLeaderandEngineeringManagerasrequired. Theselectedindividualwillberesponsibleforbutnotlimitedtothefollowingobligations:
- Interpretcustomerandinternaldrawings,specifications,processesandprocedures.ResponsibleforBOMchanges,quotesupport,andprocess/productimprovementanalysis.Update/createmanufacturingandtoolingplanswithillustrations.Coordinatemanufacturingandtoolingplanswithdesign.Workwithproductionpersonneltobuildtheproductinacost-effectivewaythatmeetsthecustomer'srequirements.
- Performreviewsofnewdrawings/specsandspecrevisions.Analyzedesignsforproducibility.Assessnewprogramstart-upissues.
- ContinuousImprovementleader-Implementprocessimprovementandstandardization.CalculateROIonproductivityanddesignimprovements.IdentifyandcreatecauseandcorrectiveactionplansthroughthoroughRootCauseAnalysis.Developandimplementmeasurementplansfordatacollectionandanalysis.
- Assessandrespondtocommoninquiriesorcomplaintsfromcustomers,regulatoryagencies,ormembersofthebusinesscommunity.Effectivelypresentinformationtotopmanagement,publicgroups,andcustomers.
- Coordinatesitevisitsforcustomers,suppliers,internalpeople,andlocaltechnicalgroups/associationsandpresenttechnicaldatainternally,tocustomers,andtosuppliers.
- Providehandsontrainingandguidancetooperationspersonnelanddevelopnecessarytrainingmaterials.
- Bachelor'sdegreefromanaccreditedfour-yearcollegeoruniversitywithcourseworkinengineeringorothercloselyrelatedfieldofstudy.Minimumof5yearshandsonexperienceinspecificcompositemanufacturingprocessareaswillbeconsideredinlieuofdegree.
- Onetotwoyearsrelatedexperienceand/ortraininginanengineeringdiscipline.
- SolidPCandCADskillsrequired.
- Solidabilitytodefineproblems,andinterpretavarietyoftechnicalinstruction,collectdata,establishfacts,anddrawvalidconclusions.
- Solidverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsarerequired.
