Job Summary:

The Executive Chef oversees culinary operations for the Travel Task Force team, ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals that support traveling audit staff during extended assignments. This role ensures food service standards, health regulations, and operational efficiency are maintained across various temporary worksite locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute nutritious, cost-effective menus tailored to team needs, dietary restrictions, and regional availability
• Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations in mobile or temporary kitchen settings
• Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are met in compliance with local regulations
• Manage food inventory, ordering, and supply logistics across different travel destinations
• Train and supervise support staff in kitchen safety, culinary techniques, and task efficiency
• Coordinate meal schedules with audit leadership to align with work timelines and team availability
• Monitor and manage food-related budgets while minimizing waste
• Continuously assess team feedback to refine meal quality, presentation, and variety

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills in high-pressure environments
• Proven experience in managing kitchen operations and developing meal plans
• Thorough knowledge of food safety practices and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently in dynamic, mobile work environments
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Effective communication skills, especially in coordinating with cross-functional teams
