About Us: Our Behavioral Health Department provides residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient treatment services for individuals struggling with substance-use disorders and co-occurring disorders. We also provide mental health counseling services for adults and teenagers who are referred to us from within our provider network. Please contact us for more information and apply today! About the Position: Performs administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a Physician, Advanced Nurse or Physician Assistant. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, accessing the Prescription Drug Monitoring Program, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding for insurance purposes. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients/clients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications or treatments as directed by the Medical Provider. The Behavioral Health Medical Assistant may also participate in activities such as individual and group therapy, day treatment services, crisis intervention, case management, client advocacy, supported living services, community living services, and education. Requirements:

- Completion of an LPN degree or certificate program
- 2 years of experience in a Healthcare setting
- State of Alaska Licensed Practice Nursing License
- BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association
- State of Alaska Driver's License
