Job Description Comprehensive management of construction projects from estimating/bidding to close out which includes but is not limited to: Seek out projects to bid Business Development Attend pre-bid meetings Estimating Planning and execution of projects from start to finish safely, efficiently and profitably Managing our own staff/trade crews Self-performing and mentoring junior staff in the trades you are skilled in Managing subcontractors Preparation of CPM schedules Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Thoroughly familiar with CSI Specifications Divisions Prepare Change Orders Find suppliers and subcontractors, obtain pricing prior to bidding Reading and understanding construction drawings and specifications Requirements Estimating Ability to perform field work including manual labor, skilled labor and equipment operation as necessary to ensure successful execution of projects 10 years of experience in construction in the Baltimore-DC area Experience managing subcontractors Trade Experience in either demolition, concrete, earthwork, utilities, structural steel or masonry List of subcontractors used in your past experience Self-perform take-offs even for subcontracted trades using take-off software Preferences 5 years hands-on experience in a trade (preferably earthwork, utilities, concrete, masonry or structural steel) Speaks Spanish 10 years local experience in the Baltimore-DC area #J-18808-Ljbffr
