PACU Nurse

Role Overview As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will deliver immediate post-operative care to surgical patients, managing airway support, monitoring neurological and cardiac status, and responding promptly to complications. You will perform initial wound care, ensure patient stability, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams. The role involves on-call availability during select non-business hours. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality, patient-centered care based on evidence-based practices Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout your shift Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatments, and follow-up care Engage with interdisciplinary teams including providers and therapy staff Apply critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe nursing care Qualifications & Skills Registered Nurse (RN) license with an associate degree Critical care experience (ICU, ER, PACU) of at least 1 year Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Trauma Care certifications (obtained within specified timeframes) #J-18808-Ljbffr
