Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) travel assignment in Norfolk, Virginia. Start date: 08/31/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,566–$1,643 per week. Guaranteed hours: 35 per week. Shift: Night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 3x12-hour nights with every other weekend rotation. Setting: Skilled Nursing Facility. Responsibilities
- Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies to residents, including inhalation therapies, oxygen, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and aerosolized medications
- Monitor patient status and response to therapies; document findings and adjust plans per physician orders and facility protocols
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory care equipment; ensure proper cleaning and infection control practices
- Collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans
- Document interventions clearly in the resident’s medical record and communicate priority changes to the care team
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory care, device use, and safety

Requirements
- Current Respiratory Therapist licensure in Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure
- RRT credential preferred; eligible for Virginia licensure if not already licensed
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.) and participate in every-other-weekend rotations
- Prior experience in respiratory care; travel or skilled nursing facility experience preferred
- Strong documentation, assessment, and equipment maintenance skills
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment
