Caregiver | Bloomsburg, PA

$15/hour | Various Schedules Available | No Experience Required

Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Bloomsburg and surrounding communities .

We offer a variety of client schedules based on current needs and work to match caregivers with available cases that fit their location, availability and preferred hours.

One of the things our caregivers value most is the opportunity to meet a potential client before starting a case. Our meet-and-greet process gives you a chance to meet the client, see the home environment and determine whether the placement feels like a good fit.

No professional caregiving experience? That's okay. If you're reliable, patient and enjoy helping others, we'd love to talk with you.

• $15/hour

Our clients have a variety of care needs and schedules, which may include:

• Daytime hours

• Evening hours

• Overnight shifts

• Weekday and weekend opportunities

• Part-time and full-time hours based on available client needs

Available hours vary by location and current client needs. During the hiring process, we'll learn more about your availability, preferred schedule and the number of hours you're looking for so we can determine which opportunities may be a good fit.

Depending on the needs of the individual you're supporting, you may:

• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming

• Help with mobility and everyday activities

• Prepare meals

• Complete light housekeeping

• Provide companionship and conversation

• Assist with errands or appointments when needed

• Follow the individual's care plan

• Document the services you provide

You must:

• Be 18 years of age or older

• Have a valid driver's license

• Have reliable transportation

• Be able to complete required background checks

• Be dependable, caring and patient

Previous caregiving experience is welcome, but it is not required.

Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA or CNA is a plus.
