Litigation Paralegal

·Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, as well as trial preparation. ·Manage and organize case files and documents using our document management system, CloudLex. ·Assisting attorney with preparation and service of medical review panel submissions. ·Gather relevant information to support case preparation. ·Prepare and maintain trial notebooks, exhibits, and other trial-related materials. ·Coordinate with assigned attorneys, clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel to schedule meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials. ·Maintain confidentiality of client information and adhere to ethical standards. Qualifications: ·Previous experience as a litigation paralegal needed with a preference to a background in medical malpractice. ·Certificate or degree in paralegal studies. ·Proficient in using a document management system as well the Court’s filing systems of Odyssey and Pacer. ·Strong administrative skills with excellent phone etiquette and writing ability. ·Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills. ·Familiarity with file management and ability to keep cases moving forward so that efficient resolution can occur. ·Excellent organizational and time management skills. ·Proficient in data entry and computer software applications including Word and Adobe.
