Our client, a nationally recognized management-side labor and employment law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney / Of Counsel to join its Employment Litigation Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced employment litigator to work remotely while handling sophisticated employment matters for employers across a broad range of industries. The position offers significant responsibility, meaningful client interaction, and the opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished labor and employment attorneys in a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. Candidate Profile JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing 4+ years of substantive California employment litigation experience (Associate level consideration) Attorneys seeking Of Counsel consideration should possess 9+ years of relevant California employment litigation experience and demonstrated first-chair litigation capabilities Experience defending employers in employment litigation matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour, and related workplace claims Experience representing employers in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative agency matters Class Action and/or PAGA experience preferred, but not required Strong knowledge of California and federal employment laws and administrative procedures Demonstrated ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution Excellent written and oral advocacy skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to client service excellence Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Commitment to professionalism, collaboration, and teamwork Prior large law firm experience is preferred Key Responsibilities Defend employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters and agency proceedings Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation Represent employers before state and federal administrative agencies Advise and counsel employers on employment law compliance and workplace issues Conduct management training on employment and labor law topics Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, employment torts, contract claims, non-compete issues, and class or representative actions Collaborate with attorneys across multiple offices and practice areas to provide strategic, business-oriented legal counsel to clients Why Join Us? Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary: $120,000 – $216,000+ , commensurate with experience, level, and geographic location.
