Patient Service Specialist (Front Desk) Vienna, VA | Onsite $19/hour Contract-to-Hire About the Role Our client, a leading outpatient physical therapy provider, is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to join their team in Vienna, VA. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for patients and play a critical role in creating a positive patient experience while supporting daily clinic operations. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out processes Schedule appointments and follow-up visits Answer incoming calls and assist patients with questions and requests Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system Verify patient information and assist with registration processes Provide exceptional customer service to patients, providers, and staff Support clinic operations through administrative and front desk duties Effectively multitask between patient interactions, phone calls, and computer work Required Qualifications Previous customer service experience Experience working in a medical office, healthcare clinic, or patient-facing healthcare environment Strong computer skills and ability to learn multiple software systems Experience answering and managing high-volume phone calls Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Schedule Monday - Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Why Join? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
