Radiology - Echo / Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiac Sonographer

This is a contract position for approximately 8 weeks.

Shifts are scheduled from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with variations as needed.

The Cardiac Sonographer will perform echocardiograms and assist in the diagnostic imaging of cardiac conditions. This role requires proficiency in ultrasound technology and an understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities:

• Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures as prescribed by attending physicians.
• Assess and record patient history and clinical symptoms.
• Provide quality images for diagnostic interpretations.
• Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
• Experience in echocardiography is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
