DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Embodies a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, efficient service with a smile to customers and team members. Embraces our family culture and follows core values (TRIFIC: Trust, Respect, Integrity, First‑Class, Innovation, Commitment). Ensures all guests receive a memorable experience and are satisfied. Maintains a professional company image by following grooming and uniform guidelines, including slip‑resistant shoes. Prepares food with 100% recipe adherence, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, portioning, and serving. Follows production prep lists and keeps accurate records. Requisitions supplies and equipment as needed. Uses knives, slicers, and kitchen equipment efficiently and safely. Wash, slice, and peel items on prep lists. Stores prepared food items safely and date‑labels them properly. Follows all brand standards related to food safety, sanitation, operational excellence, or guest satisfaction. Practices excellent food safety and sanitation, complying with all local, state, and federal laws. Restocks kitchen supplies and food items required for service regularly. Assists with ordering and planning food supplies as directed by the supervisor. Reports necessary equipment repair and maintenance to management. Monitors proper rotation and dating of prepped food items and storage areas. Maintains a clean, organized work environment free of safety hazards. Works well in a fast‑paced environment; is detail‑oriented and can multi‑task. Performs other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS Minimum of 1 year of closely related cooking experience; experience in high‑volume or fast‑casual dining preferred. ServeSafe Certification or equivalent required by state. Can work unsupervised for extensive periods and demonstrate good judgment with guests. High School Diploma or GED. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team‑oriented environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent customer service skills and effective communication in English. Self‑starter who prioritizes and handles multiple tasks simultaneously. Adapts to changing priorities and unexpected situations. Proficiency in reading, writing, and mathematics in English. Can lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and perform essential job functions such as standing, bending, reaching, gripping, climbing ladders, and walking long distances. Can stand for long periods and work in environments with varying conditions, including high heat, steam, and odors. This position description is intended to describe the primary elements of the role.
