This opportunity is ideal for strong critical-care nurses who are comfortable floating across multiple intensive and intermediate care settings. Position Details Start Date: September 7, 2026 Contract: 13 weeks Schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week 48-hour contracts: Available Openings: 3 Holiday: Coverage required No Call Radius Requirement: Must reside outside a 90-mile radius Unit & Patient Population 32-bed Medical ICU / Neuro Critical Care Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2, or 1:1 based on acuity Patient population includes: Sepsis ESRD & AKI requiring CRRT/CVVH Post-cardiac arrest care Respiratory failure Float assignments: Medical HVCC, SICU, and IMC Requirements 1 year of Level I ICU experience preferred; otherwise 2 years of ICU experience Strong MICU/critical-care background Experience caring for high-acuity patients NIHSS required BLS and ACLS through AHA required Active Massachusetts RN license Must be comfortable floating within ICU-level and related areas This is a great opportunity for an experienced ICU RN looking for a high-acuity night assignment with the flexibility to work 48 hours.
