Forklift Operator

Job Description

Job Summary:

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator who’s also a team player willing to assist with general warehouse duties as needed. In this role, you’ll spend a good portion of your time operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials — but when needed for other duties you won’t hesitate to jump in and help out.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack depending on the warehouse)
Load/unload trailers and move products to designated storage areas
Perform daily equipment checks and report issues or maintenance needs
Assist with picking, packing, and staging orders for shipment
Receive, sort, and stock incoming inventory
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
Work closely with the warehouse team to meet daily productivity goals
Be flexible and willing to support other warehouse tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Valid forklift certification (or willing to obtain one)
1+ years of forklift experience in a warehouse or similar setting
Comfortable lifting up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and being on your feet for extended periods
Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Basic knowledge of warehouse systems and handheld scanners is a plus
Dependable and punctual
