Overview Physical Therapist – General, Lamar, Colorado, United States. Start date 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,805–$2,931 per week. Guaranteed hours 40 per week. Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (5x8). Travel - temporary assignment in an inpatient/outpatient care setting. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,805–$2,931 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (5x8) Start date: 08/24/2026 Setting: inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services in a healthcare facility serving a range of patient populations Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop a comprehensive Plan of Care for physical therapy, using assessments aligned with requested therapies. Deliver evidence-based treatment, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait training and functional activities; adapt treatment to pediatric, adolescent and geriatric populations as needed. Reassess patient progress per policy and adjust the Plan of Care to strive for prior function or maximum medical improvement. Maintain accurate records, including daily notes, progress reports and special reports; supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and provide staff, volunteer and student instruction as appropriate. Collaborate with the Rehabilitation Department Manager, physicians and other care team members to coordinate care and ensure efficient patient flow. Educate patients and families on home programs, safety, and strategies to support ongoing recovery and functional independence.
