Support student achievement and wellness as an Occupational Therapist serving K-12 students in a contract role for the 2026-2027 academic year. This onsite opportunity, located near Peabody, MA, focuses on providing therapy and support in an educational environment, collaborating closely with teachers and staff to foster an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere for students of various ages and abilities.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
• Experience in a K-12 educational setting, preferably working with a diverse student population
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with educational teams, parents, and students
• Ability to adapt therapeutic interventions for students with different learning and physical needs
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation in school settings

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized occupational therapy services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Collaborate with special education and classroom teachers to develop and adapt classroom strategies and interventions
• Document and report on student progress with clear, thorough notes and timely communication
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional insight and recommendations for each student’s therapy plan
• Offer guidance to staff and families to promote generalization of skills in different environments
• Support transition planning and facilitate students’ participation in academic and social activities
