How you'll make an impact in this role

• Support patients during transitions by safely assisting with their entry and exit from the facility, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment from arrival to departure.
• Champion daily patient wellness by providing compassionate assistance with personal care and activities of daily living, upholding patient dignity and comfort.
• Serve as a critical line of communication by observing and promptly reporting changes in patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing team to ensure proactive care.
• Document the patient care journey with accuracy and diligence, ensuring the clinical team has reliable, high-quality records to make informed health decisions.
• Maintain a safe, healing environment by keeping patient rooms orderly and ensuring medical equipment is clean, functional, and ready for immediate use.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Additional certs may be required by specific job locations.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
